The Leaders Of Tomorrow project was initiated by the Rotaract Club Of Kandy Metropolitan in collaboration with St. Anthony’s Boys College, Kandy. The objective of the project was to enhance the leadership qualities and motivations of the St. Anthony’s Boys College Grade 5 Prefects. The project aimed to provide leadership training and motivation to the 80 prefects of the school. The project was planned and implemented by the Rotaract Club Of Kandy Metropolitan in collaboration with St. Anthony’s Boys College, Kandy. The project team consisted of members of the Rotaract Club Of Kandy Metropolitan and the staff of St. Anthony’s Boys College. The project team met several times to plan and organize the project activities.
- Motivation Training
The project began with a motivation training session conducted by Rtn. Rtr. PP. Chandula Nanayakkara. He shared his leadership experiences from his schooling time and motivated the students with various activities.
The objective of the session was to inspire the students to become better leaders and to motivate them to achieve their goals.
- Leadership Training
A practical session on leadership development was conducted by Dr. Samith Benaragama, one of the best leadership trainers in Sri Lanka. The session included leadership development activities and sessions for the students. The objective of the session was to enhance the leadership qualities of the students and to provide them with the necessary skills to become effective leaders.
- Team-Building Activities
Team-building activities were conducted to help the students work together as a team and to develop their teamwork skills. The activities were designed to improve communication, trust, and cooperation among the students.
- Hiking and Outdoor Activities
The project team organized a hike and various outdoor activities for the students. The activities were aimed at helping the students to develop their physical fitness, endurance, and resilience
